Our People
Founder & President
Mr. Amanullah Kassim Machiyara
Mr. Amanullah Kassim Machiyara is the Founder and President of ZMT Primary Healthcare Network, where he leads a quiet but powerful movement to reshape how underserved communities in Karachi access healthcare. His vision is rooted in a simple yet radical idea — that healthcare should not be a privilege, but a basic right, delivered with dignity and care.
ZMT was established in memory of his late mother, Zubaida Machiyara. Mr. Machiyara brings to ZMT a rare combination of clinical insight and systems thinking. With a background in medicine, he understands the mechanics of care delivery. But more importantly, he sees the human cost of systemic gaps — the quiet suffering that often goes unnoticed. His response is thoughtful and structured: design efficient, scalable clinics that are deeply embedded in the communities they serve.
He believes in doing work that is sustainable and performative. Through ZMT, Mr. Amanullah Kassim Machiyara is not just addressing a healthcare challenge. He is building a model of service that blends compassion with clarity, and values with results — one that quietly redefines what public good can look like in today’s world.

Message from the General Secretary
Dear Supporters,
I’ve often thought about what makes the work we do at ZMT truly meaningful, and I always come back to the same thing: it’s the people we serve. Every woman and every child who walks through our doors is a reminder of why we started this journey in the first place — to make healthcare something that is available and accessible for everyone, especially for those who need it the most.
When I think about where we’ve come from in such a small time, I feel a deep sense of gratitude. The families we’ve helped, the lives we’ve touched, and the trust we’ve built over the years — that’s all what keeps me going.
As general secretary, I can proudly say that we’re not just providing medical services but also creating a space where our patients can feel safe and cared for.
Yet there’s still so much more to be done. We want to ensure that no woman or child is ever turned away because they can’t afford care. That’s where your support comes in. It’s a shared journey, and we want you to help us with building a future where at least primary healthcare is not something anyone has to struggle with just because they can’t afford it.
With gratitude,
Sahar Merchant
